Privacy policy

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit saved.lat, why it is collected and what choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum.

Who is responsible

SAVED (saved.lat) is responsible for this website. You can contact us about privacy at hello@saved.lat.

Information we collect ourselves

• Page views without cookies. When a page loads, a small script sends the page address and the site name to our own statistics service so that we know which guides are read. It does not set cookies, does not store your IP address in our statistics and does not build a profile of you.
• Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and email address only as long as needed to answer and to keep a record of corrections.

We do not run accounts, comments or newsletters on this site, and we do not sell personal data.

Advertising: Google AdSense

SAVED shows advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this website and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

Where the law requires consent (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), Google's consent tools ask for your choice before personalised ads are shown, and non-personalised ads may be shown if you decline.

Fonts and hosting

Pages use typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to download them. The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages securely and to protect against abuse.

How long we keep data

Our anonymous page statistics are kept in aggregate. Emails are kept for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them earlier.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to processing and to complain to a data protection authority. To exercise these rights, write to hello@saved.lat with the subject "Privacy request".

Children

SAVED is a general-audience site written for adults managing a household. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. More about cookies is in our cookie policy.
